Our Whistleblower System

Compliance with statutory regulations and internal rules, as well as the principles set out in our Code of Conduct and the Business Partner Code of Conduct, is a top priority at Porsche Albania. The success of our company is based on Integrity and Compliance. To meet these standards, it is important to become aware of potential misconduct by employees or suppliers in order to prevent it. Therefore, we have entrusted the Central Investigation Office to operate, on our behalf, an independent, impartial, and confidential whistleblower system.

A key pillar of our whistleblower system is the principle of procedural fairness. It ensures the highest possible level of protection for whistleblowers, the persons implicated, and employees who contribute to the investigation of reported misconduct.

This also includes providing opportunities for anonymous reporting and communication. We ensure that no steps are taken to identify anonymous whistleblowers who do not misuse our whistleblower system. Retaliation against whistleblowers and all persons who contribute to investigations at Porsche Albania will not be tolerated. Persons implicated are presumed innocent until a violation is proven. Investigations will be conducted with the highest level of confidentiality. Information will be processed in a fair, swift, and protected procedure.

How Do We Process Your Report?

Qualified and experienced colleagues at the Investigation Office carefully review every report of potential misconduct by an employee of Volkswagen Group and follow it up personally.
First, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. The Investigation Office will then assess your report. This includes gathering facts, particularly from the whistleblower. Only if this initial assessment indicates grounds for suspicion of a violation will an investigation by a dedicated investigative unit be initiated. The results of the investigation will then be evaluated by the Investigation Office, and appropriate measures will be recommended. Information regarding the status* and outcome of the procedure will be provided to you without undue delay.

Possible violations of the Business Partner Code of Conduct by suppliers including serious risks and breaches of human rights and environmental standards by direct and indirect suppliers may also be reported to the Investigation Office, as well as reports requiring immediate action. The Investigation Office will inform the responsible departments, which will address the matter accordingly. This particularly includes taking necessary measures to minimize or end violations and/or risks.

*Processing time varies depending on the subject of the procedure.
